Recognized for Outstanding Innovation

At the prestigious Design Innovation Award 2025 in Genoa, the SAY 52 has been recognized for Outstanding Innovation. The award, presented at the historic Palazzo Ducale during the 63rd Salone Nautico di Genova, celebrates visionaries who redefine the future of yachting.

This recognition places the SAY 52 among the select few shaping tomorrow’s industry standards. It acknowledges the yacht’s uncompromising performance, lightweight carbon engineering and a design philosophy that unites technological progress with sustainable thinking.

An International Stage for Excellence

The Design Innovation Award is one of the most respected accolades in the nautical world. Organized by Confindustria Nautica and the Salone Nautico di Genova, it is judged by an independent international panel of designers, journalists and industry experts. This year’s jury was chaired by the renowned Italian designer Walter De Silva, himself a recipient of the Compasso d’Oro and widely considered an ambassador of Italian design excellence.

With nearly 300 distinguished guests gathered in Genoa’s Palazzo Ducale, the SAY 52 stood out as a symbol of progress in performance-oriented yacht building.

SAY at the Salone Nautico di Genova

The 63rd Salone Nautico marked SAY Carbon Yachts’ debut in Italy. On the docks of Marina Fiera Genoa, the shipyard presented both the SAY 42 and the award-winning SAY 52 to an engaged and sophisticated audience.

The event not only offered the opportunity to showcase yachts live in the water but also to engage directly with industry leaders, yacht enthusiasts and partners. Conversations throughout the week confirmed the resonance of SAY’s vision: that the future of yachting lies in innovation, efficiency and contemporary design.

A statement for the Future

Winning the Design Innovation Award is more than a recognition. It is a statement. The SAY 52 embodies what defines SAY Carbon Yachts a relentless focus on performance, uncompromising lightweight engineering and a forward-looking design approach.

This award also reflects the people behind it. Our CTO Karl Wagner, the design studio Genesis and the SAY Team have each contributed to turning a vision into reality.

Innovation is not an option, it is the way forward.
